I consider it a huge honour to be able to document one of the most important days in someones life.
There are only a handful of times that you will feel such a flood of emotions. and if you have the right photographer, it’s usually all within a few clicks of the shutter. Your wedding day is one of them, all of your closest people, in a single place, all at once, and all with a mutual shared love and celebration of you both.
It’s important for me to be able to freely document your wedding as is! Unguarded and vulnerable. This is where all the magic of your wedding lives.
To be let in to someones close knit community for a day is a privilege and something I never take for granted. (Yes, this also includes partying with you!)
I limit the amount of weddings I book per year to make sure I’m giving my full attention to my couples throughout your wedding journey.
These are the moments you’re going to look back on for a lifetime, I want you to be transported back to those moments, a nostalgic sock to the face every single time you crack the spine of your photo album.
With pictures you’re going to adore more than you can ever imagine right now.
Meet Luke - Nottinghamshire Wedding Photographer
Hello, I’m Luke.
Thanks so much for dropping in!
A little bit about me, I live in Nottinghamshire along with my wife, Allie and our two girls. We spend a lot of time cooking good food, making art & music, and exploring our beautiful country in our van (Sally Vanzilla) and generally trying to be the best examples for our kids.
The majority of my life has been (and still is) spent creating art in some form or another, through music or photography.
For as long as I remember, I’ve been obsessed with the weird and wonderful, the underdogs, mad ideas and out of the box thinking. I was never much of an academic, more of a daydreamer. Which I think comes in handy..
This transcends into you and the folks who want something a little different on their wedding day whether on analogue film or digital, rather than a preconceived idea of how wedding photos ‘should’ look. I’m more interested in the people and the unique events behind it all, the stuff that really makes you feel and remember it all as you want it remembered. It’s your day after all… Why would you have it any other way?
PS: No that little beauty is not my bug (Though I do love it!)
Don’t just take my word.
SOME KIND WORDS…
